Question:

I was wondering if there was a particular moment, or day that something in your mind changed allowing you to begin to heal? Or, was it a slow process? Were you aware of psychological changes, or did changes seem to happen all of the sudden on their own accord?
Thank you for sharing your life.

Angel's response:

Life is a process. Life culminates in every moment. When I can trust the process then I can have moments of revelation. I had to do the therapy, read the books, learn the concepts and ideas so that when the pivotal moments occur, I will have the understanding or revelation. Had I not done the work there would be no culmination/climax. A story/movie builds on itself to a climax and then ensuing conclusion. You can not have a climax or conclusion without the story. The story is my process.

Primarily it was a continual choice more than anything else. A choice to live. A choice to show up. A choice to learn. And it was a very slow process spanning 14 years and continues. In retrospect I am very aware but when you are in it. It is hard to see the changes.
